Youth Football USA (YFUSA.org) corporate structure is expanding once again. YFUSA, the nation's only organization focused solely on the improvement of youth football on a national scope, is pleased to appoint Joe Bouffard as it's newest Executive Administrator and Board Member. Youth Football USA ( www.YFUSA.org ) has established a unifying structure for youth football and cheerleading organizations by encouraging safe and healthy participation in these sports, promoting sportsmanship and academic achievement, and assisting adult leaders and coaches in their roles in youth development.

Joe Bouffard, Director of YFUSA, served as the Director of Marketing for Offense-Defense Football Camps for over 7 years. “Joe was a component of Offense-Defense Football Camps growth from 6 camps to our 40 plus national locations,” states Rick Whittier , Offense-Defense CEO. Offense-Defense Football Camps currently teach over 10,000 youth football players the fundamentals of the game. Prior to his tenure at Offense-Defense, Joe coached at college and HS levels. “Through his involvement in Marketing for Offense-Defense, Joe was in direct contact with youth football coaches and leagues from
a variety of socio-economic regions throughout the country. This helped strengthen Joe's understanding of how diverse youth football organizations are structured in both independent and publicly involved leagues.”

In addition to Offense-Defense Football Camps, Joe has been a fundamental supporter of the development of Youth Football coaches. He was instrumental in developing the curriculum topics for national youth coaches clinics over the past two years. “The divisional transition from O-D Camps to YFUSA is very logical”, says Matt Whittier, Offense-Defense President. “YFUSA keeps its thumb on the pulse of youth football nationwide, and this is the same audience that Joe has been familiar with through the camps for several years”.

“Coaches need to be prepared long before they take the field with the kids. The various topics that I spoke on provided them the fundamental understanding to teach the kids in the proper manner. Improving a coach's ability to understand and teach the game is my number one goal thru YFUSA's existing Certification Program. My objective with YFUSA is to have 70% of the memberships coaches certified over the next two years”, says Joe Bouffard.
